Our cottage is located near to Iznajar just 1 hour's drive from Malaga or Granada airports. For a relaxing, simple holiday in uncomplicated surroundings, you can experience the best of living in rural Spain, surrounded by olive groves and stunning views. Our cottage is a comfortable, well equipped house with a private terrace and pool. It is only a 2 minute walk from the nearest village and bar but its situation ensures that you feel part of rural life where the sun governs the day, from cock's crow to siesta and into the evening. You can sit and watch the sun set from the private terrace whilst enjoying a glass of wine or the local favourite, chilled fino sherry.
Lake Iznajar with its beach is just a 10 minute drive away, where you can walk, fly kites, play beach games and swim. There are beach restaurants with shaded terraces and great views of the lake. In high season there are pedalos and kayaks to hire.
If you want to taste the life on the Costa del Sol, the coastal beaches of Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Torre del Mar are just an hour's drive away, with many attractions such as the Aqua Park and Sea Life Park.
Iznajar with its beautiful churches and moorish castle is 10 minutes away. Situated on the cusp of Cordoba, Granada and Malaga provinces and just 15 minutes from excellent motorways means that Antequera is a 20 minute drive, Granada just 45 minutes and Cordoba an hour away.
There are plenty of shops, mini-supermarkets and banks locally and lots of country restaurants. We can help with booking bird watching days, local guided walks and horse riding - if you want to be a bit more energetic.
The Casita provides all modern comforts with different terraces and a large pool where you can completely relax, especially with a cold drink in hand from the poolside fridge. Our guests find that when they shop, go for a drink in a bar or join in with the local fiestas they experience Spain at its traditional best.
